Nola Hellyer
BjP Associate
Aunty Nola involvement with BjP Physical Culture stems back over 60 years. After starting physie aged five, Aunty Nola enjoyed many successes in competitions including placing at senior level. Since 1963 when Aunty Nola began teaching physie at Mortdale as well as clubs at Caringbah, Sutherland and Miranda
Since then Aunty Nola has collected over 62 years of teaching experience including 60 years as the BjP Associate for Mortdale. Over this time Aunty Nola has also raised her six children, including two BjP associates as well as having a valuable involvement in the childhood of many other children. She has also enjoyed the numerous opportunities physie has given her to be involved in iconic events, including being an Odyssey 2000 overseas tour chaperone, Olympic opening ceremony assistant, and Sydney Royal Easter Show associate.

As of 2022 Aunty Nola has been the Southern Zone Head Associate for 46 years, a Junior National backstage associate since 1996 and the B-Grade Team Co-ordinator for NSW.
Aunty Nola is there for all of our classes from Tinies right through to Ladies and loves seeing her girls progress and grow.

Elisse
BjP Associate
13 years to Open Seniors
Elisse didn't join Mortdale Physie, she was born into it as Aunty Nola's youngest daughter and competing in her very first competition prior to turning two. She has achieved her own physie goals in her time with Mortdale qualifying for the senior national finals and achieving zone placing in ladies competitions. Elisse has extensive teaching experience demonstrating and assisting to teach since her junior years, finally in 2014 taking up a full teaching load with the ladies class at Everton Physical Culture Club in QLD. Since her relocation to NSW she has expanded her teaching duties, now inspiring and guiding the 13 years to Open Seniors to achieve their goals.

Courtney
Courtney's passion for Mortdale Physie is evident starting with the club at just 18 months of age, joining her Mum & big sister and missing only a handful of lessons since. In those 20 plus years she has represented herself and our club in numerous team and individual competitions achieving including placing at zone level and reaching the semi-finals at national level. She loves the team part of physie & loves to compete with her friends. Courtney's physie is a huge part of her life and never knows what to do with herself during physie holidays. She enjoys helping the younger girls and encouraging them in class and at competitions. She enjoys demonstrating the work for the younger girls to learn & loves watching them grow in confidence. Mortdale Physie family is a big part of Courtney's family.
Jade
Jade started at Mortdale Physie when she was about 2-3 years old following her big sister, Mum, Aunty & great grandmothers in their love of physie & Mortdale Physie has always held a special place in her heart, something to share with her family & a constant in her life. Physie has given her many special friendships & is her home away from home. Physie has taught her confidence & perseverance, through highs & lows, taught her the value of determination & commitment.. She love teaching, had grown up dancing & it has always been a passion of hers to pass on her knowledge & love of physie. She has been lucky enough to reach the Junior Nationals eight times, the Senior National Finals four times & one State Final. She has competed in many team competitions since she was 5 years old with her best friends.
